Margie Dean Allen, 59, of Webb City, Missouri, passed away Sunday morning, June 28, 2020, in the comfort of her home.
Margie was born September 24, 1960, in Long Beach, California, to the union of the late Robert and Patricia (Deathridge) Trotter. She was raised in Arizona before her family relocated back to the Joplin area in 1962.
Margie worked at Cardinal Scale for a number of years and also managed Subway in Webb City. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a caring wife and mother. She was loved by many and a great friend to everyone.
Margie was united in marriage to John Allen and together they have shared the last 38 years.
Additional survivors include two children, Crystal Trotter of Greenwood, Arkansas, and John Trotter of Carterville; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jakob, Maxwell and Raylan; nine siblings, Robert Trotter of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, John Trotter of Duenweg, Tennessee Trotter of Carl Junction, James Trotter of Joplin, David Trotter of Kansas City, Missouri, Sargeant Williams of Joplin, Nina Smith of Sebastian, Florida, Terry Hammontree of Sebastian, Florida, and Machelle Trotter of Joplin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Rita LaLaurena Williams, Jan I. Jacobo and Deborah K. Rollins.
No formal services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
