(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Marie Ann Harper, 66, of Monett, Missouri entered into eternal rest on Tuesday January 18, 2022 while at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Salinas, California on June 18, 1955; the daughter of JoAnn (Bricker) Walkup and the late Benny Walkup.
She was united in marriage on November 21, 1980 in California to Richard Harper; he preceded her in death on September 1, 2012.
She was a retired teacher from Berean Christian Academy in Monett, Missouri.

Marie is survived by her mother: JoAnn Walkup of Monett; three sons: Rodney Baxman of Santa Rosa, California, Eric Harper of Newberry Springs, California, and Justin Harper of Republic, Missouri; four daughters: Wendy Harvey of Monett, Mysty Withnell of Frontnac, Kansas, Becky Duell of Sugar Creek, California, and Kayla Harper of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two brothers: Rick Walkup of Monett, and Benpaul Walkup of Merrillville, Indiana; three sisters: Sarah Tauai of Justin, Texas, Carol Walkup of Marionville, Missouri, and Gay Ruth Houts of Sarcoxie, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are incomplete at this time and will be released upon completion.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
