(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Benjamin James Holder, of Miller, MO, departed this life on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 18.
He was born on September 27, 2003 in Joplin, MO to Justin James and Amanda Lynn (Bowles) Holder. Benjamin was a senior at Miller High School. He was a member of the Round Grove Baptist Church. Benjamin enjoyed going to Camp Barnabas every summer. He had many friends and loved to laugh. Benjamin liked fishing and baseball. Most of all, Benjamin loved being with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Justin and Amanda Holder; two brothers, Alexander Holder and Kendall Holder; his maternal grandparents, Roger and Debbie (aka Nana) Bowles of Miller, MO; and his paternal grandparents, James and Velma (aka Mamaw) Holder of La Russell, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Round Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Round Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Round Grove Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Barnabas. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
