Treva Smith

Mrs. Treva Jean Smith, 69, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin after a sudden illness.

Treva was born on Thursday, May 29, 1952 in Webb City, Missouri, to the union of the late Eugene and Sylvia (Holden) Crane. She was a graduate of Webb City High School. 









On July 9, 1979 she was united in marriage to Leroy Smith, sharing forty-two years together. Treva was a very dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She had a caring and compassionate heart and was a caregiver to many for several years. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; also father and mother-in-law, Dale and Ruth Smith.

Treva is survived by her husband Leroy Smith; children, Tamra Kell, of Webb City, Missouri and Jason Smith and wife, Katrina, of Owasso, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brayden Smith, Carter Smith and Sophia Smith; siblings, Stan Crane and wife, Patty, of Webb City, Raymond Crane and wife, Sheila, of Webb City, Laura Roush of Joplin, Patty Crane of Joplin, Larry Crane of Duenweg, Sandy Miller of Joplin, Jim Crane and wife, Charlene, of Joplin, Kay Crane of Joplin and Debbie Crane also of Joplin; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law’s, Delores Reynolds and husband John, of Carthage and Brenda Youngblood of Diamond; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services for Treva are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Sarcoxie Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Filsinger officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Martin Clark, Jimmy Carnes, Marty Bland, Skyler Crane, David Roush and Brad Crane.
