(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Kellie Jean Jennings, age 52, Wagoner, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, January 25, 2022, at the Wagoner Community Hospital.
She was born February 25, 1969, in Joplin, MO. To John Jennings and Linda McDonald Jennings.
Kellie graduated from Missouri Southern State College with a master's degree in social work. Working for Oklahoma Department of Health and Senior Services for twenty-four plus years. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church of Coweta, OK.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Lenora Jennings and Flip and Esther McDonald.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, John Vance Jennings and wife, Lynn, Quapaw; two nephews, Jordan Patterson and wife, Brittany, Wilmington, N.C., and Justin Jennings, Quapaw, OK; one niece Jenni Jennings, Quapaw, OK; one great niece, Penelope Patterson; one great nephew Beau Dillon Patterson due to arrive in March. Special friends, Jim and Phyliss Fallon, their daughter, Katie and husband, Zack and their two children, Austin and Cy James; her special group of girlfriends that graduated together “Ladies of the 80’s”. They often ate out together and fellowshipped.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2022, at the 1st Baptist Church, Quapaw. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Masks are not required but with COVID please feel free to wear a mask if you would feel more comfortable.
