Betty Rowe-Clymer

Betty Louise Rowe-Clymer was born November 25, 1933 in Versailles, Missouri, one of eight children to Dwight A. and Beulah (Woods) Berkstresser. She entered into rest on January 24, 2022, following a car accident at the age of 88. 

Betty graduated from Versailles High School and worked as an office manager in numerous medical offices and also owned and operated B and B Bookkeeping. 








She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, embroidery, cooking, canning and gardening. She was a member of the Stella Baptist Church. 

Betty and Earl Rowe, Jr. were married in 1975 and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1996. On August 18, 2018, Betty married Estell Clymer in Miami, Oklahoma and he survives. 

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by four children, Lois N. (Ed) Davis of Laramie, Wyoming, Richard M. (Virginia K.) Rowe of Crane, Missouri, Melissa J. (David) Gibbens of Newtonia, Missouri and Joanne (Ted) Monreal of San Diego, California; three bonus children, Dean (Kathleen) Clymer of Rich Hill, Missouri, Rick (Bobbie) Clymer of Stella, Missouri and Jane (Rick) Gardener of Grassy Creek, North Carolina; six siblings, Dwight ‘Buzz’ (Colleen) Berkstresser, Jr. of Topeka, Kansas, Nellie Beth (Norm) Whiteland of Gatesville, Texas, Phillip Wray (Cathy) Berkstresser of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sarah Jane (Dan) Jamis of Goddard, Kansas, Allen Ross (Judy) Berkstresser of Kimberling City, Missouri, John David (Diane) Berkstresser of El Dorado, Kansas; nineteen grandchildren, forty five great grandchildren, twenty-seven great great grandchildren and numerous loved nieces and nephews. 

Betty is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Elaine Rowe and brother, William Edward Berkstresser.
