Larry Williams

Larry Gregory Williams, age 71, Webb City, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Freeman West Hospital.

Larry was born November 23, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois, and grew up in Prophetstown, Illinois where he graduated from High School before serving in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. 









 
He moved to the Joplin area in the early 2000’s where he worked as a cabinet maker and was known for his craftsmanship working with wood. He loved spending time with his many friends watching sports or cooking out.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nova Shultz-Marshall and her husband Robert Shultz; aunt, Helen Williams; uncles, Howard, Lloyd, Bill, Henry, Donald, Tommy, and Wallace Milsaps.

Survivors include his father, Jack Williams of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brothers, Roger Williams and Ronnie Williams both of Illinois; aunts, Zula Hall of Chattanooga, and Faye Bledsoe of Etowah, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many good friends including Robin and John Ross of Carl Junction; and his loyal furry companion, Buddy.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with family and friends sharing stories.

Cremation will follow with his ashes being returned to Chattanooga at a later date.
