(From Clark Funeral Home)Bill Emberson, age 68, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 2:06 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness. He was born April 19, 1953, in Paramount, California.
In May of 1975, he married Charleen Pope in California. She preceded him in death on September 10, 2018.
Bill was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a machinist for Electro-Tech’s Machine in California and Kawneer and Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, Arkansas. He loved spending time with his family and collecting baseball cards.
Survivors include his son, Bill Emberson, and his wife, Shelley, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kylie and Carter Emberson; and one sister, Helen Blair of Georgia.
His parents, Matthew and Faye (Emberson) Karlskint, preceded him in death.
The Clark Funeral Home has conducted local arrangements in Neosho, Missouri. Private family services are to be held at a later date.
