(From Parker Mortuary)Edward Thomas Chimero, age 66, passed away on October 29, 2024, in Joplin, MO. He was born on June 1, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Frank and Gertrude (Dempsey) Chimero.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force. After that he worked as a jet engine mechanic. His love for playing the guitar was well-known among his family and friends. He married Lisa Narciso in March of 2023.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Chimero; his son, Eddie Chimero, Jr.; his daughter, Christine Chimero; his stepdaughter, Doris York; his niece, Laura Braiser; and his grandson, George Chimero. Along with this parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Chimero, sister-in-law, Diane Chimero, and stepfather George Kelly.
A burial will take place on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas, with full military honors.
