Mike Sattler

Michael David “Mike” Sattler, of Miller, MO, departed this life on Monday, February 23, 2026, in his home at the age of 74.

He was born on June 22, 1951 in Sioux City, IA to Homer and Mary (Stalker) Sattler. In 1966, his family moved to Raytown, MO. Mike graduated from Raytown South High School in 1970, where he lettered in football. He worked through high school at Fun House Pizza. Mike later worked at Orion Fittings in Kansas City, KS from 1982 to 1989 managing the shipping department. He retired from Wal-Mart after 19 years between Monett and Mt. Vernon.








In August of 1991 Mike met the love of his life, Becky (LaSalle) Sattler. They were united in marriage on June 26, 1992 at Nathanael Greene Park in Springfield, MO. Mike became a proud dad to Isaac and Celia. In 1994, Frederick Michael Sattler was born to Mike and Becky. The family enjoyed family trips across the U.S. playing Blitz in the car rides, camping, cheering for the Royals and the Chiefs, and becoming an Ohio State Fan. They also enjoyed watching WWE on Monday and Friday nights. Mike loved motorcycles from his first one at the age of 16 until his last days.

Mike and Becky built their home in 1993 in Miller, MO. He enjoyed helping and volunteering often grilling for the Miller Athletic Booster Club, packing and passing out food for Miller Christian Center Food Pantry and making parade floats. He also helped people move and lent a helping hand with any building projects.

In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing with his boys and family. Mike had a passion for guns of all sorts, black powder to handguns. His favorite teams were the Miller Cardinals, KC Chiefs and Ohio State. He loved the color red. Mike could whistle loud where everyone knew to stop and pay attention, or it was him cheering you on.

Mike was active in the Miller community throughout the years, and was an active member of the First Baptist Church including Royal Ambassadors. He loved his family and enjoyed participating in doing activities with his children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.








Preceding him in death were his parents, Homer and Mary Sattler, one brother, Clayton Sattler; and one son, Fred Sattler.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Sattler of the home; one son, Isaac Hulbert and wife Julie of Miller, MO; one daughter, Celia Huff and husband Chris of Springfield, MO; one daughter-in-law, Kylie Sattler of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, Emma Hulbert, Sydnee Adams, Weh Hulbert, and Finn Huff; one brother, Danny Sattler and wife Cheryl of Cole Camp, MO; one sister, Sheree Rice and husband Ralph of Independence, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Miller First Baptist Church. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miller First Baptist Church. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
