(From Knell Mortuary)Robert Dean Tatum, 85, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born in Carthage, Missouri, to Edward Clinton and Elsie May (Lown) Tatum, Robert was known for his loving spirit, strong work ethic, and deep faith. He worked as an expeditor for several manufacturing companies, traveling extensively and forming lasting connections wherever he went.
Robert loved the outdoors, especially tending his yard and watching birds. He generously supported charitable causes benefiting veterans, children, and animals.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Marsha Elaine Tatum; his parents; and a grandson, Hunter Castro. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
