(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Jeanette Maxwell, 78, of Monett, MO, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, while at her home, following a decline in health.
Jeanette was born on May 12, 1947, in Monett, daughter of the late Raymond and Cecilia (Golubski) Witt. Jeanette was a graduate of Wheaton High School and retired from Schreiber Foods in Monett. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield, MO. Jeanette's true joy came from the time spent with her beloved grandchildren and family.
She will be lovingly remembered by one son, Brian Maxwell of Shell Knob, MO; three grandsons, Keith Maxwell and wife Sandy, Jason Maxwell and Shawn Maxwell; two great-grandchildren, Ashtynn and Devon; two brothers, John Witt and wife Cindy of Pierce City, MO and Tom Witt and wife Mary Ann of Purdy, MO; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will hold a private burial at a later date, in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Pulaskifield, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
