Bill Francis

Bill Frank Francis of Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on February 12, 2026, at the age of 77.

Bill was born on January 18, 1949, in Bentonville, Arkansas, to Thomas W. Francis and Louise Jane (Duncan) Francis. He graduated from Bentonville High School with the Class of 1967.

On January 1, 1981, he married Glenda Jo Spivey-Francis, in Springfield, Missouri. She survives him.

Bill worked faithfully for many years as a machinist for Leggett & Platt.

Bill was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ since he was a teenager. He truly loved the Lord with all his heart and lived out his faith each day. He attended Forest Park Baptist Church until his passing.

Bill was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and a lover of nature. He loved spending time in God’s word and the nature that He created.

He is survived by wife Glenda Francis; his children, Billy Frank Francis Jr. and wife Lisa of Neosho, and Sheri Lynn Francis of Oronogo, Missouri; two granddaughters, Tiffani Richelle Mansfield and husband Trenton of Neosho, Missouri and Kristen Nichole Stubblefield and husband Elias, of Duenweg, Missouri; two great-granddaughters, Emma Mansfield and Ellie Mansfield; his siblings, Eddie Francis and wife Maria of Carl Junction, Missouri; Janie Spears and husband Duane of Gravette, Arkansas, and Jim Francis and wife Teresa of Gravette, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Winnie Faye Hall.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Heritage Baptist Church, Keith Laster officiating.
