Juanita Banks

Juanita Banks, age 89, of Lewisville, Texas passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Garden Ridge Place in Lewisville.

She was born August 26, 1936 in Ridgley, Missouri the daughter of Champ and Lucille “Lucy” (Savage) Brattin. On March 21, 1954 in Exeter, Missouri she was united in marriage to Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Banks, who preceded her in death on April 13, 2021. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Leroy Brattin.








Surviving are her sons, Jeff Banks and wife Lori of Cassville and Kevin Banks and wife Kelly of Cassville; daughters, Debbie Ross and husband Bill of Cassville, and Linda Townsend and husband Bill of Flower Mound, Texas; brother-in-law, James Banks of Cassville; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Juanita attended school in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School. She worked as a waitress for several area restaurants and was a homemaker which she loved. Juanita taught Sunday School, was the youth director at Corinth Baptist Church and song leader at Prairie Hill Baptist Church. She was of the Baptist faith and a very strong Christian woman who lived a life that exemplified faith, love, and devotion. 








Juanita enjoyed traveling with Ronnie and riding horses, but most of all she loved her family, especially the grandchildren. Juanita will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services are currently pending. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
