(From Fohn Funeral Home)Donnald Shelley, age 70, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born August 23, 1955 in Purdy, Missouri the son of Virgil and Donna (Stone) Shelley, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were a son, Brandon Sabart; life partner, Lora Bruton and sister, Virginia Baldwin.
Surviving are his sons, Lesley Carter of Eagle Rock, Stanley Andrus of Monett and Bryan Davis and wife Alexandria of Verona; daughters, Crystal Magers of Shell Knob, Danna Shelley of Monett, Chandra Carnes and husband Jeremy of Rogers, Arkansas and Gena Sowell of Rogers, Arkansas; brother, Doyle Shelley of Purdy; sister, Vonda Brown and husband Terre of Purdy; 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Donnald grew up and attended school in Purdy. He was employed by Chapman Construction as a supervisor for 40 years from where he retired. Donnald enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and going back roading while listening to old country music.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
