LaVeta Crowe

LaVeta Crowe, age 65, of Cassville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Cassville.

LaVeta was born on November 10, 1960, in Springfield to Jerry and Patricia (Norman) Rose. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1979.

On October 29, 2004, LaVeta married her best friend and the love of her life, Stu Crowe. Together they built a life filled with faith, family, and shared passions. She was a devoted supporter of Stu and loved traveling to watch him in the Professional Bull Riders (PBR).








LaVeta was a dedicated business owner who proudly owned and operated CR-ose’s Cafe for 20 years, serving the communities of Washburn, Cassville, and Exeter. Through her cafĂ©, she not only built a successful business but also created a welcoming place where friendships were formed and memories were made.

Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself and treasured every moment spent with them. LaVeta also shared a special and cherished bond with her father, Jerry.

LaVeta will be remembered for her strong faith, her servant’s heart, her love of family, and the warmth she shared with everyone who walked through her doors.

Survivors include her best friend and husband Stu Crowe; one daughter, Lyndsey Libertus of Exeter, Missouri; one son, Jerrod Archer of Cassville, Missouri; a very special nephew, Kason Crowe of Cassville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Emma Libertus and Jayde Libertus; her father Jerry Rose and his companion Phyllis Long of Washburn, Missouri; two sisters, Coleta Rose of Seligman, Missouri; and Jeanne Young of Washburn, Missouri; two brothers, Pete Rose and his wife Katie of Washburn, Missouri, and James Rose of Cassville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.








LaVeta is preceded in death by her mother, one niece Tamara Corn, and Mason Lowe.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at White Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
