Charles Lee

Charles Arthur Lee, age 76, of Wentworth, MO passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. He was born in Aurora, MO on Saturday, August 13, 1949; son of Oscar and Venita (Royster) Lee. 

Charles married Linda Masters on Friday, February 18, 1966, in Miller, MO. Charles and Linda spent 60 years loving each other and creating a wonderful family that continues to grow. He retired from ConAgra after working many years as a turkey farm manager. 








Charles collected die-cast cars, enjoyed talking on CB's, looked forward to putting up Christmas tree lights each year, enjoyed watching Westerns, and spent time hunting deer. He loved his family so much and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and kids whether watching them play, talking with them or enjoying a family barbecue. He also loved his dog, Panda, who often greeted him when he returned home each time. He will sure be missed by many!

Surviving are the following: his wife, Linda; four sons, Chuck Lee of Pierce City, MO, Carlan Lee (Johnna Plybon) of Mount Vernon, MO, Landon Lee (Shauna Cunningham) of Diamond, MO, Kyle Lee (Chelsea Southard) of Mount Vernon, MO; daughter-in-law, Crystal Lee of Wentworth, MO; son-in-law, Johnny Garrison of Sarcoxie, MO; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Lee, Tom Lee, and Floyd Lee; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 








Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Venita Lee; two children, Gerald Ray Lee and Jana Garrison; and five siblings, Henry Lee, Charlie "Coon" Lee, Frank Lee, Charlene Thomas, and Retha Swatosh.

Graveside services will be at Union Cemetery in Stotts City, MO on Friday, February 20, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
