Dona Anderson

Dona Anderson passed away February 4, 2026 from a short illness.

She was born to Clayton M. and Dolores D. (Dipley) Anderson on October 29, 1955 at Jane Chinn Hospital in Webb City. She Lived in Webb City with her family, then moved to the Riverton/Galena area. She went to Riverton schools.

In 1971, she married George "Rick" Boyd in a small ceremony. They divorced in 1989. Later that year, she married David Weber, then divorced in 2008.








She worked as a baker for Holiday Inn, a cook for Oak Hill Hospital and in production for Safeway Bakery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Mike Anderson and Mark Anderson, and two sisters, Tammy Anderson and Vicki Freeman.

She is survived by her two daughters Christina (Boyd) Decker and her husband, Don, and their children Tyler and Christian, and Kelly (Boyd) Staudt and her husband Pete and their two children, Lindsay and Trenton. She is also survived by her brothers Leonard, William and James and her sisters Karen and Terrie.








She will be cremated by Derfelt Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life and a potluck dinner for close friends and her family will be in her honor on March 14th, 2026 at 11:30 am at The Mollie, 513 S. Main, Galena, KS.
