Beverly Barry

Beverly Arden Buford Barry, 89, of Joplin MO, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2026 surrounded by those who loved her.

Beverly was born on April 21st, 1936 in Joplin, MO to Earl and Eunice Buford. She devoted her life to her family and her home, embracing her role as a housewife with grace, warmth, and unwavering love. Her greatest joy was caring for the people she held dear, and her presence made every house feel like a home.







She was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and deep love for her family. Whether it was preparing meals, celebrating holidays, or simply spending time together, she found beauty in the everyday moments of life. Her love was quiet but constant, and it will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert A. Barry, who passed away 14 years ago, her first daughter Jamie Lynn Barry, and her parents Earl and Eunice Buford. 








She is survived by her eldest daughter Anne Rainey and husband Nick, daughter Karen Weaver and her partner Bryon Rakes, grandson Franklin Rainey, granddaughter Samantha Wheeler and husband Max, grandson Mathew Plummer and wife Tina, granddaughter Chelsea Plummer, great-grandchildren Kylie and husband Jakob, Kenzie, Lane, Libbie, Haven, Karsyn, Hollynd, Luke, Hudsen, Cheyenne, great-great-granddaughter Maelynne.

The family is deeply grateful to Gentiva Hospice and Home Instead for their kindness, compassion, and devoted care.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her love, her strength, and the legacy of family she leaves behind.
