(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)April L. Payton, age 51, of Carthage, MO, passed away after a brief illness on February 10, 2026. She was born on February 8, 1975, in Tulsa, OK, to her parents Walter “Lee” Springer and Thyressa Lewman. April was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her kindness and unwavering support of her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jason Payton; two daughters, Rose Partsch and Kimberly Partsch; one grandchild, Rowan Hilton; and one brother, Lee Springer.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. April will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
