Lisa Wren

Lisa Kay Wren, age 61, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home.

Lisa was born on February 6, 1964 in Joplin, MO to the union of Mike and Sharon (Endicott) Wren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lisa was an avid game show watcher and you could often find her answering questions to prompts before the contestants. She loved to have fun and those who had the privilege of knowing Lisa will remember her as the life of the party. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit undeniably uplifting. She navigated life's twists and turns with humor and an unwavering positive outlook that inspired everyone around her.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Wren; two sisters, Gava Wren and Gina Wren; and one brother, Joshua Points.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Linkins; two sons, Nicholas Wren and Michael Newton, Jr.; father, Mike Wren; seven siblings, Misty Wren and husband, Tommy, Jon Wren, Tom Points, Richard Points, Marla Points, Shelly McGovern and Linda Goad and husband, Troy; step-mother, Kathryn Lorenz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to the mortuary to help with funeral expenses.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
