Jenny M. Snyder, 75, passed away March 4, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Jenny was born April 17, 1941 in Carthage to Albert and Eldora “Hall” Snyder. She was a lifetime resident of Carthage, a homemaker and danced at the A.T.A. Hall on several occasions.
Jenny was united in marriage to Melvin Sloniker in January of 1961 in Carthage. Melvin preceded her in death October 14, 1993.
Jenny is survived by three daughters: Marilyn Chapman and husband Darrel of Webb City, Marsha Henson and husband Earl of Joplin and Mary Malven and husband Ronnie of Reeds. She is also survived by one sister, Lillie Bogle of Neosho, two brothers: Alvin Snyder of Edinburgh, Indiana and Dennis Snyder of Granby, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Jenny is preceded in death by three brothers: Gene, Albert and Edward, and three sisters: Nellie, Minnie and Ruby.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangement are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
