Jessie ”Mable” Reid, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Jessie was the beloved wife of late husband Tom Reid, devoted mother of son Robert Cox, and daughters Rhonda Norris and Jeri Lyons and grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Jessie was also very special to her previous husband Ronnie Cox. She is survived a step son, Tom Reid; two brothers and one sister.
Jessie was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family. She loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would spend hours cooking and preparing for her company.
Jessie was known for her witty responses and good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Family and friends will gather at Hamilton Chapel United Methodist Church in Parsons, KS on Saturday, April 1st for a small memorial at 10 am.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
