Linda Frances McMillian, age 66 of Neosho, died Nov. 22, 2016 at Carthage Health and Rehab in Carthage, following an illness.
Linda was born July 7, 1950 in Santa Ana, California, the daughter of John and Nelda L. (Weiser) Wyatt. She was a teacher and last taught at Noel, Missouri. She loved playing cards; watching movies and old shows; learning to quilt; doing things for others and keeping in touch with family and friends. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.
Linda and Sam McMillian were married on May 18, 1974 in Neosho and he survives. Additional survivors include four children, Steven Adam McMillian, Amanda Dawn McMillian, Melony Ann McMillian and James Ernest McMillian and wife, Marissa Ann; one brother, John Wyatt and wife, Nancy and four sisters, Susan Keith Philliber, Rebecca Ann O’Dell and husband, Randy; Deborah Lynn Wyatt and Cheryl Priscilla Lupton and husband, John. She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Sarah June McMillan.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Ken Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery, south of Neosho. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
