Billie Rae Kendall, age 95, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 17, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family and loved to the end.
Billie Rae was born August 1st, 1923, in Heavener Okla., to William Evatt and Bertha Huie.
"Nana" as she was affectionately known to her grandchildren, was an accomplished seamstress, and until her eyesight failed her, she would spend countless hours making gifts for them. She loved outings with her church group, spending time with her dog, Sassy, and made the most amazing chocolate sheet cake you've ever tasted. But most of all she loved being with her daughter "Diane" and her many grandchildren.
She worked many years for Tidewater Oil Company in Tulsa, Okla., then moved to Grove, Okla., retiring from the Public Library.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Diane Criner, Joplin; grandchildren, Kristan Curry and husband, Bill, Joplin, Steven Skinner and wife, Summer, Nixa, Mandi Englert and husband, Jason, Diamond, great-grandchildren, Chandler Moore, Peyton Moore, Devyn Hale, Bailey Hale, Cooper Hale, Jesse Clevenger, Anthony Skinner, Marin Skinner, Grant Skinner, Olivia Skinner , Drew Englert, Jack Englert and great-great- grandchildren, Bosten Mathew, Hadley Hawkins and Owen Hawkins.
A small graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 at 10 am at Osborne Cemetery. A celebration of Nana's life will be held at a later date at Forest Park Baptist Church.
Although we miss her terribly now, through the grace of Jesus Christ we know we will see her again and that makes all the difference.
