James E. Bollinger, 92, Neosho, MO passed away November 22, 2018. He was born September 12, 1926 in Sedgewickville, MO to Thomas and Elizabeth (Ellis) Bollinger. He served in the US Army during WWII and had worked in several different jobs, including a grocery warehouse manager, a salesman of recreational vehicles, and a house builder. James moved to Neosho in the mid-1990s.
He married the former June Barks on October 4, 1943 in Cape Girardeau; she preceded him in death on January 21, 2017. James is survived by six children: Launny Bollinger and wife, Jo of Quitman, TX, Kay Cade and husband, Dean of Arvada, CO, James Bollinger, Jr. and wife, Ann of Neosho, MO, Connie Boeckenstedt of Staunton, IL, Patty Diliberto and husband, Nat of Topeka, KS, and Kenny Bollinger and wife Kathy of Neosho, MO; fourteen grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 26 from 4 until 6 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with Kevin Boeckenstedt officiating. Interment, with full military honors, will follow in the Hazel Green Cemetery, Granby, MO. Grandsons, Nathan, Kellen and Kory Bollinger, Gary and Mark Cade, Matthew and Daniel Diliberto and Kevin Boeckenstedt will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.
