Robert Jeffery “Rob” Patterson, age 61 of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Rob was born on June 13, 1957 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to the late John Milton Patterson, Sr. and Florence Jean Blaylock Patterson.
Rob worked as a recycler for Midwest Fibre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Patterson; one sister, Sharon Patterson; and a grandson, James Knee.
He married Deborah Lynn Armer on June 30, 1978 in Joplin. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Penny McNeal, Woodville, Texas, Nikki Ward and husband, Chad, Neosho, Tammy Patterson, Carthage, Christina Patterson-Parker and husband, Drew, Joplin; nine grandchildren, Jeffery Menteer, Jesse and Bobby Knee, Emily, Bradley, Nicholas, Cameron, Courtney, Jaxson Ward; three brothers, John Patterson, Jr., Brian Patterson, and Duane Murphy; four sisters, Diane Patterson, Lynnie Cupp and husband, Harrison, Debbie Shivley and husband, Steve, Cathy Reed and husband, Tim.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of his sister, Cathy Reed, 2110 Trenton St, Joplin.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
