Joni Lynn Wright, 52, of Bentonville, died November 12 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
She was born January 1, 1966 in Nyssa, Oregon to David Lloyd Lowe and Virginia Mae McCool. She was a homemaker and married Richard “Dink” Wright, Jr. November 2, 1984. She loved all animals and rehabilitated many injured ones for release back to the wild. She is preceded in death by her father and a sister Diana Bean.
Survivors are her husband Richard “Dink” Wright, Jr. of the home; a son, Nathan Scott Wright of Bentonville; her mother, Virginia Edwards of Anderson, Missouri; a brother, Ric Akehurst and wife Kay of Anderson, Missouri and three grandchildren.
Graveside services are set for 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 16 at Pea Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Jamie Cope officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. No visitation.
