Bette Lee Sinden, age 86 of Diamond, Mo. passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, following complications from surgery.
Bette was born on June 22, 1933 in Osage, Wy., the daughter of Lorenzo and Mamie Faye (Rutledge) Branscomb. She has been a long-time area resident, Bette retired as the quality control manager of Basic Electronics in 1991.
She married Johnnie Sinden on April 9, 1983; he survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter; Sheila Akin of Davis, Il., two sons; Johnny Vestal of Fort Collins, Co., James Sinden of Winthrop Harbor, Il., a sister; Marguerite Mattingley of Leaf River, Il., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bette was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harold Vestal, a daughter, Deborah Vestal and by two brothers, Paul and Robert Branscomb.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Hillcrest Church of Christ in Neosho, Mo. Burial will follow at Diamond Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
