Mrs. Yolanda Lee “Lana” Richie of Decatur, AR passed away Wednesday December 25, 2019 at son’s home in Pineville with her loving family by her side.
Lana was born on December 3, 1950 to the late George Henry and Ruby Evelyn (Thomas) Burhenn. She grew up in the Newton County area later moving to Neosho and then Washington State before settling in Northwest Arkansas 25 years ago.
She married Cecil Richie in September of 1995 in Eureka Springs, AR. Aunt “Yoyo” (as she was known to her family) worked in various warehouses and also as a storage unit manager in her later life. She was a member of the Turning Point Fellowship in Gentry Arkansas and enjoyed watching westerns on television.
Lana is survived by three sons; Ryan Studdard and wife Bahar of Carl Junction, Allen Richie and wife Hannah of Pineville and John Richie of Grady, AR, a sister; Rochelle Grau and husband Bert of Rogers, AR and twelve grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
