Mr. Jerry Lee Adamson, Jr., 47, of Oronogo, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday afternoon, December 24, 2019, at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jerry entered this life on January 24, 1972, in Joplin, Missouri, born to the union of Jerry Lee Adamson, Sr., and Sally (Ackerson) Adamson. He was a lifelong resident and a 1991 graduate of Joplin High School. He has been employed with Empire/Liberty Utilities since 2007 in their IT Department as a server analyst. He was also the owner and editor of Stardom E-Magazine.
Jerry is survived by his parents, Jerry and Sally Adamson, of Joplin; a sister, Amanda Koziol, and husband, Roman, of Keystone Heights, Florida; a nephew, Gavin Koziol; as well as a host of other family and countless friends.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2019, in the chapel of Parker Mortuary with Pastor Bob Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Roman Koziol, Gary Ackerson, Tim Redden, Zachary Jones, Ken Jones and Brian Starchman. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.
Memorials are being directed to the American Cancer Society c/o the mortuary. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri
