Billie L. Ginn of Miami, OK passed from this life Saturday, December 28, 2019 at The Communities of Wildwood Ranch in Joplin, MO. She was 90.
Billie was born April 28, 1929 in Hickory Grove, OK to Robert Forest and Bertie Lee (Hampton) Robertson. Billie was raised in Fairland, OK; she attended Fairland Elementary School and graduated from Fairland High School as Valedictorian of her class. She attended Miami Business College.
She married her high school sweetheart James E. Ginn in Fairland, OK, July 31, 1948.
She joined General Adjustment Bureau, Inc. in Miami, OK in 1948 as branch secretary, where she worked for 13 years. She then worked as an Administrative Assistant with Eagle – Picher Technologies in Miami for 22 years retiring in 1987. She later worked for DOCS Senior Services. She was a charter member of the Bethany Christian Church in Miami and a member of the Cherokee Nation.

Survivors include a sister, Lila Robertson of Miami, OK, 2 daughters Debbie Ann Lorimer and husband Pat of Joplin, MO and Karen Denise Wilson and husband Richard of Tulsa, OK, three grandchildren Richard J. Wilson and Courtney, Brian Lorimer and Jamie, Kara Weber and Jim, great grandchildren Chase, Carter and Chloe Rose Wilson, Azariah and Chandler Lorimer, Cheyenna Lorimer and husband Skylar Lewis, Miranda Lorimer and husband Andrew Mitchell, Daisy, Jerome, Jasper and Jules Weber and 2 great great grandchildren Connor Mitchell and Grantlee Lewis.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2019 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Pastor Leon Weece will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
