Lois Marion Smith, 83, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Quail Ridge Living Center in Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. Lois entered this life on July 9, 1936, to the late Jessie LeRoy and Helen Marion (Hicks) Rose in Alberta, Alabama.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Southwest City, Missouri. Lois enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and worked hard on the farm. She will lovingly be remembered as a terrific mother and grandmother.
Lois entered this life on July 9, 1936, to the late Jessie LeRoy and Helen Marion (Hicks) Rose in Alberta, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cindy Cory; a son, Andy Lee Blecha; three siblings, Betty Ruth Johnston, Buddy Rose and Roy Rose.
Lois is survived by her two daughters, Tonja Blecha of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Linda K. Anderson and husband, Richard, of Noel, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brandon Lee Anderson, Tesha Marion Burrows and Clayton Dean Cory; four great-grandchildren, Jaxson Lee Anderson, Jensen Gray Anderson, Chloe Maddison Sisco and Ashton Marie Cory; a sister, Ann Glass of Florence, Alabama; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Lois.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the Southwest City Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
