Tommy Dean Clifton, age 62, Carl Junction, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Freeman West.
Tommy was born August 22, 1957 in Springfield, Missouri, son of the late Woodrow Clifton and Julia Casteel Clifton. He attended school in Waco, Missouri, and graduated from Carl Junction High School. He worked for some time as a truck driver for various companies before beginning his career with Snak-Atak. He held several positions with the company before retiring as a supervisor after 22 years. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Casey Clifton of the home; sons, Clovis Clifton of Carl Junction, William Clifton of Lockwood, Missouri, and Harold Clifton of Miami, Oklahoma; daughters, Crystal Woolsey of Joplin, Bonnie Mullins of Joplin; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow "Woody" Clifton, Jr. and wife Wendy of Lebanon, Missouri, Mike Daily, and Danny Daily, both of Joplin; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
