Joyce Ann Banning, age 70, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Mercy of Joplin.
Joyce was born January 11, 1949 in Neosho, Missouri, daughter of the late J.D. Kruse and Dorothy Worthington Kruse. She was a retired Certified Nurses' Assistant, working most of her career with McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was known for spoiling her pets. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Banning, brothers, Darryl Kruse, Kevin Kruse, and Dennis Kruse.
Survivors include her daughters, Christina Mitzner of Joplin, Renee Monson of Carl Junction, Tanara Banning of Joplin; grandchildren, Maranda Mitzner, Melissa Bohannan, Amy Thomas, Christian Mitzner, and Dalton Monson; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Gilbert Kruse, Ronnie Kruse; sister, Jan Field; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. No formal services are planned at this time.
