Ms. Barbara Ann Chandler, 63, of Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Webb City, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, July 3, 2020, in the comfort of her home after a recent battle with cancer.

Barbara entered this life on March 10, 1957, in Joplin, Missouri, the only daughter born to the union of the late Leroy and Betty (Weaver) Chandler. 

Barbara was born with Cerebral Palsy and was always cared for by her family. She had an amazing personality, being the only girl in the family she ruled the roost! She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, collecting DVDs, decorating for every holiday and watching the Golden Girls. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, David and Dan Chandler.

Surviving are two brothers who loved her dearly, Steve and Larry Chandler both of Joplin; two nephews, Brett and David Chandler; two nieces, April Bolla and Stephanie Chandler; and a great niece and nephew, Dillen Chandler and Mali Bolla.

Funeral services are 10:00 am. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Sarcoxie Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
