(From Simpson Funeral Home)Calvin Gonterman, II. age 76 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to Floyd Calvin Gonterman and Dorothy (Roberts) Gonterman on January 7, 1944.
Calvin was a United States Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 20 years and then worked for the United States Postal Service for another 20 years before retirement.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Paige of Joplin; a sister, Garith Small and husband Russell of Lawrenceville, Georgia; along with several other extended family members and friends.
Calvin will lie in state on Monday, October 12, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Weaver Cemetery in Oronogo, with full military rites.
