(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)James Glen Seufert, 60, of Wentworth, Missouri was called to his Heavenly home on Sunday January 2, 2022. He was born on August 10, 1961 in Monett, Missouri; the son of Glen and Wilma (Rosewicz) Seufert. He was united in marriage on September 15, 1984 at the St. Agnes Church in Sarcoxie Prairie, Missouri to Debbie Graskemper; she survives.
He was a farmer and worked in concrete construction and was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City, Missouri. He loved the farm and was already making plans for the next crop.
His cattle thrived under his care and he was proud of his black cows. If you needed help to haul hay or clean up after a tornado, he was first one there and the last one to leave. He was super talented and could fix anything and often did fix it in his shop.
He loved all his family and looked forward to his nieces and nephews coming to help on the farm. He enjoyed jug fishing for catfish, spending time at the lake with friends, traveling to tractor shows with friends, and talking on the phone to his buddies.
James is survived by his wife Debbie of the home; his parents Glen and Wilma Seufert of Pierce City; two brothers: Dale Seufert and his wife Kim of Pierce City and their children: Michael, Joe, and Paul; and Lawrence Seufert of Pierce City; and one sister: Marcella Cooper and her husband Rex of Pierce City and their children Jesse, Cody and Angie, and Levi.
Also surviving James are his in-laws: Robert and Loretta Graskemper; sister-in-law: Von and Linda Brottlund and their children: Ian, Mattie and Samuel, Jonna and Bubba, and Donielle; sister-in-law: Sharon and Jeff Blackburn and their children and grandchildren: Rebecka and Michael, Avery and Rykin: Samantha and Nick, Eli, Liam and Eden, Jake and Micayla and Lexie.
Memorial donations for James may be made to the St. Mary’s School in Pierce City.
Memorial services are pending at this time and will be released upon completion.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
