(From Clark Funeral Home)Peggy Louise Brown was born July 29, 1935 in Newtonia, Missouri, the daughter of Russell and Flora (Kinnear) Patterson. She entered into rest on January 4, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 86.
Peggy was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Midway High School in 1953. She had worked at Jones Pharmacy, Fillingham Accounting and as a cook at the Brown Derby. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, gardening and spending time with her grandkids.
Peggy and Ted E. Brown were married on November 16, 1953 at the Methodist Church in Neosho and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1990.
Peggy is survived by five children, Rusty Brown of Neosho, Michael L. Brown of Joplin, Susie (Jeff) Goodall of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Ted (Lorra) Brown of Anderson and T.J. (Heather) Brown of Granby, Missouri; five grandchildren, Gus (Tausha) Werries of Granby, Missouri, Michaela (Trent) Landes of Carthage, Missouri, Randi Jo Werries and fiance’, Hunter Renfro of Granby, Missouri, Taylor (McKenzie) Brown of Bella Vista, Arkansas and McKenzie Alexis Brown of Anderson, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Easton and Kennon Werries and one sister, Judy Miller of Neosho, Missouri.
