Kelly Battiest

Kelly Lynn Battiest, 24, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Friday evening, April 7, 2023, at her home.

Kelly entered this life on June 1, 1998 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, born to the union of Donny and Tabitha (Bigmedicine) Battiest. She was raised in Gentry, Arkansas and was a graduate of Gentry High School. For the last three years, she has worked at La-Z-Boy in Neosho, Missouri. She enjoyed horses, racecars, fishing and being outdoors.

 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfathers, Larry Battiest and Wayne Sherman.

Kelly is survived by her parents, Donny and Tabitha Battiest of Gentry, Arkansas; two children, Tuff Griffin and Clyde Battiest; two brothers, Cody Battiest and wife, Bri, of Decatur, Arkansas and Rusty Felter also of Decatur; a sister, Marisa Wolfe and husband, Robert Berridge, of Twin Oaks, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Viola Sherman of Noel; as well as a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday morning, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri, with Travis Manley officiating.
