Levi Porter

(From Derfelt Funeral Home)

Levi “Ace” Porter, 27, of Riverton, Kansas entered into his heavenly home April 18, 2023. Levi was born May 3, 1995 to Jama Porter, who preceded him in death.

Levi, the most loving and devoted grandson and brother, is survived by his grandparents June and Paul Thompson, niece Alysha Thompson all of the home; sister, Miranda Porter of Joplin, MO; fiancé Lacey Powell; aunt and uncle Gina and Kenny Shepard; numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends.

Levi had the most infectious smile and could light up a room when he entered. He had a sense of humor that could keep you laughing for hours.

He loved music and was quite a good guitar player, but also mastered drums, piano, keyboard and violin. He enjoyed playing or listening to music or just driving dirt roads to see where they would lead him. He loved fishing and would spend all night on a riverbank with a campfire just enjoying nature’s peace and quiet.

Levi’s support and devotion for his family, who loved him dearly, will be felt forever.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023 at House of Prayer Church, Riverton, KS. Pastor Audie Tash will officiate. Burial will follow in the Quaker Valley Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to June Thompson to be used at a later date. Pallbearers for the service are; Kenny Shepard, Clay Vance, Brent Paige, Josh Walker, Josh Herman, and Jace Herman. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
