(From Ozark Funeral Home)Charlene Marie King, 77, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
She was born on March 5, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to the late, Charlie Keel and Marie Caroline (Kreider) Williams. Charlene was USDA Inspector at the local poultry plants. She loved and recued several animals, never turning any of them away. Charlene cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles “Chuck” King; sister, Patty Hammondtree and two step brothers, Jake Williams and Harvey Williams.
She is survived by her son, C.L. King (Diane Currie) of Anderson, Missouri; two daughters, Judy McBain (Bret) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Trish King of Carthage, Missouri; a brother, Joe Williams (Gail) of Seneca, Missouri; sister, Betty Hurley of Springfield, Missouri; step-brother, Everett Williams of Kimberling City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jessica Cripps, CeNedra Holden, Sephrenia Phillips, Kelton King and Dallas Spivey; great grandchildren, Benett Holden, Emma Holden, Tucker Holden, Kody Holland, Kayla Holland, Kaydee Holland, Kandis Cripps, Krixus King, Sonya King, Kayleen King, Maddox Spivey, Mathias Spivey, Mylo-Faye Spivey; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Charlene.
Funeral Service for Charlene will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Leonard will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the New Berthel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the funeral home.
