Jake Adcock

(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)

Jacob Christian Adcock, age 29, a child of God, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. He was born July 11, 1993, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the precious son Tyrone and Cheri (Falcone) Adcock.

Leaving behind many who miss him, Jake is the much-loved daddy of Owen Christian Adcock; the beloved brother of Caleb (Rachel Simon) Adcock, Sarah Adcock, Gabe (Sage) Adcock, Anna (Cole) McAlester, Mary Adcock, and Noah Adcock; the dearly loved uncle of Joscelyn and Isabelle Adcock, Eleanor Adcock, and Jasper McAlester. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandpas, Jack Adcock and John Falcone; but left behind his grandmas, Joan Adcock and Gloria Falcone as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his cousin and lifelong friend, Aaron Pressnell.

Jake enjoyed outdoor adventure of almost any kind; he enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, camping, kayaking, or simply a walk in the woods and through the creek with Owen. Jake was an avid student of history and preferred history documentaries unless he was watching nature documentaries or The Lord of the Rings. Mostly, Jake genuinely enjoyed helping people; in his career as a paramedic and in his personal life, he was ever generous with his time and resources and truly lived as he believed that everyone deserves another chance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an account set up for Jake’s son, Owen. Please make all checks payable to Owen Adcock in care of the mortuary.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Jay St. Clair, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6-7 pm Friday evening at the mortuary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
