(From Brown-Winters Funeral Home)Beatrice ‘Betty’ Burchett (Tanner), 94, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Miami, Oklahoma. Betty was born August 20, 1928 in Northwest Arkansas to Ruth (Karnes) and Oval Tanner. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Ruth and Oval Tanner, two sisters and two brothers, all from Arkansas, and her oldest daughter, Diana R. Hisaw, in March 2012.
Betty was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairland. Those left to share her memory are daughter, Sheryl Bates of Fairland and her son Brett Trigg of Stillwater. Also, daughters of Diana are Janea Barger of Broken Arrow, OK and Chastity Linton of Joplin, Missouri and a great grand-daughter Haylie Linton of Broken Arrow.
Betty will be buried in the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery next to her first husband Roy C. Webber in a private ceremony.
Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
