Rickey Lansaw

Rickey Ray Lansaw, 58, of Joplin Missouri, passed away on April 7th 2023, due to a sudden illness.

Rick was born in Joplin Missouri on April 14th 1964. He graduated from Parkwood High School in 1983.

Rick was married to Belinda Andrews on April 21st 1984; they were married 38 years. Rick and Belinda had three children.

Rick was a retired maintenance man who worked hard to provide for his family. Rick was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, papa and friend. Rickey cherished his time with family and friends. He was known for his kindness, generosity, humor and touched the lives of many. 

In his free time, Rick enjoyed many hobbies and interests including sports, fishing, gaming, fantasy sports, comic books, film, and television.

Rickey attended Church of Christ and later Destiny Church. He will be deeply missed by many.

Rickey Lansaw is survived by his wife Belinda Lansaw, his two children Alex Lansaw and partner Pedro Torres, Arica Lansaw and significant other Dustin Wilson, his grandmother Opal Dewitt, his two sisters Sherry Muhurin and husband Steve, Linda Gideon and husband Scott, his two nieces, two nephews and grandchild Lacey Wilson.

Rickey Lansaw is preceded in death by his daughter Lacey Beth Lansaw, his father Raymond Lansaw, his mother Sharon Lansaw-Bratcher and his Granny Bankhead.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April,12th from 6:00PM to 7:00PM at Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
