(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Ricky Bass, 61 years old from Carthage, Mo passed from this life peacefully on April 1, 2023, at his home in Joplin. He was born in Carthage, Mo on May 27, 1961, son of the late Dale Bass and Deloris Bass (Finn).
After attending Joplin High School Ricky met and married the love of his life Mary Crihfield. Together they had five children, two sons: Rick Bass, and preceding him in death, Coty Bass.
Ricky also has three daughters: Sabrina Bass, Tabatha Bass, and Samantha Bass, all of Joplin.
Survivors also include his brother Daryl Bass of Joplin and sister Debbie Stephens of Baxter Springs. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Others that preceded him in death were his parents Dale Bass and Deloris Bass (Finn). As well as two brothers Dwane Bass and Eugene Bass.

Ricky enjoyed his cars, but his family always came first.
Ricky worked in construction mostly, most recently for Doug Wilkerson Remodeling.
Services are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
