(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Robert Lee Lawson, age 72, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Lawrence County Manor, in Mt. Vernon. He was born August 6, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William Francis and Frances Adeline (Scarbrough) Lawson.
Robert was a 1969 graduate of Miller High School, in Miller, Missouri and was a truck driver.
Robert is survived by four daughters, Tina Trefethen, of Wichita, Kansas, Tammy Robbins of Miller, Missouri, Lori Beach of Marionville, Missouri and Jennifer Tavenner, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; three sons, Robert Lee Lawson, Jr. of Marionville, Missouri, Billy Brigman of Wheaton, Missouri and Doug Crabtree of Granby, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Hood, of Miller, Missouri and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances; one son, Robert Jason Lawson and one brother.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Pennsboro Cemetery north of Miller, Missouri.
