Larry Flom

(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)

Larry Edward Flom, 74, of Marionville, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026 in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. He was born February 29, 1952 in Fott Benton, MT., the son of Newbert and Josephine (Nordues) Flom.

He was one of the hardest-working men many of us ever knew. No matter his position or title, he never believed any job was beneath him and was always willing to do whatever needed to be done. He earned the respect of those around him through his humility, determination, and willingness to help others.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy came from the people he loved. More than 30 years ago, he found the love of his life in Monnie. Together they built a marriage rooted in loyalty, respect, and unwavering commitment, setting an example of the kind of relationship we should all strive for.

He was also blessed with lifelong friendships built on trust, loyalty, and countless memories. The love and support shown by family and friends during his final days reflected the impact he had on so many lives. He often felt fortunate to have such wonderful people in his life, but anyone who knew him felt just as fortunate to have him in theirs.

Larry taught us that a person’s worth is not measured by titles, possessions, or wealth, but by how they treat others and the relationships they build. His legacy lives on through the family he loved, the friends he cherished, and the example he set for all who knew him.

He will be remembered as a hardworking man, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a loyal friend, and someone who left the world better than he found it.

Survivors include his wife, Monnie; one son, Brent Flom and wife, Chanda of Republic, MO.; two daughters, Kendra Davis of Aurora, MO. and Carly Flom of Marionville, MO.; three sisters, Teri, Mary and Kerri all of Montana; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Gary Flom.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 20 from 2-4 p.m. in the Peterson Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
