(From Sisco Funeral Home)John “Buddy” Wesley Peterson, 76, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas died June 11, 2026.
He was born July 28, 1949 in Blue Eye, Missouri to Thomas Wesley Peterson and Marian Ethel Horn Peterson. Johnny married Rosemary “Rosie” Grimes January 17, 1969. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and mowing his yard. Johnny enjoyed western movies (Gunsmoke) and owned and operated Peterson Custom Homes for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Howard, James “Bub”, Roy, Bobbi and Billy.
Survivors are children, Jared Wade Peterson (Rebecca) of Rogers, Angela Estep (John) of Cave Springs, Julia Weiser (Wayne) of Little Flock, Amber Marta (Tim) of Pea Ridge; brothers, Tommy Peterson, Eldon Peterson (Belva) of both of Washburn, Mo.; grandchildren, Ethan (Misty), Josiah, Elliott, Wyatt, Whitney (Landon), Aaron (Lindsey), Keifer (Emily), Breanna (Ryan), Jessica (Ryan), Erica (Tad), Deanna, Samantha (A.J.) and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Everyone is invited to a celebration of life service which will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Freewill Baptist Church, 351 Lee Town Rd in Pea Ridge. Private burial will be in Henson-Jennings Cemetery in Garfield.
