Laurie proudly served her country in the United States Navy from 1991 to 1993. Following her military service, she dedicated 14 years of her life to nursing, caring for countless patients with kindness and professionalism. Whether spending time with loved ones, watching motocross, enjoying nature, or creating lasting memories on her adventures, she embraced life with a generous spirit and a loving heart. She also had a special love for 80s music, and no gathering was complete without Laurie breaking out her legendary moonwalk and model walk. Whether it was perfectly executed or not, she never missed an opportunity to entertain those around her and leave everyone laughing.
Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Bilbrey; her children, Jerry Miller and wife Kristen, Blaze Bilbrey, and Hannah Bilbrey; her beloved grandchildren, Aiden Bilbrey and Flare Bilbrey; her parents, Dovie and Marie Swanson, and Roy and Sandy Hawkins; her mother-in-law, Rhonda Salyer; and her brother, Scooter Hawkins.
